the
75th
anniversary
of
the
formation
of
the
Corps
and
the
Golf
Society
celebrated
this
during
President's
Day
on
27
Jul
16.
Brig
Tank
Nash
CBE
presided
over
an
excellent
day
with
30
players
including
2
teams
from
Waterfall
Catering
who
also
provided
some
generous
sponsorship.
A
75th anniversary lapel badge provided by the ACCA and a sleeve of logo balls, sponsored by the President were presented to each attendee.
One
hundred
and
sixty
three
players
were
involved
over
the
year
in
the
four
majors,
the
4-day
tour
and
five
inter-Corps
matches
which
demonstrates
the
on-going
strength
of
the
Society.
This
can
only
continue
with
the
support
of
the
RLCA
for
which
we
are
very
grateful.
The
year
ended
on
a
high
note
with
a
very
successful
Captain's
Day
hosted
by
George
Meredith
at
which
the
Captain's
Jacket
for
2017
was
presented
to
George Cumming.
In
conclusion
it
is
safe
to
say
that
the
ACCGS
is
a
vibrant,
forward
thinking
and
successful
arm
of
the
ACC
Association
and
is
doing
its
part
in
maintaining the Corps' spirit.
